Portmone features for online stores
The Portmone system provides online stores with a mechanism for accepting payments from customers based on modern technologies certified by international payment systems. Payment is made by plastic cards. Each store that connects to the system automatically becomes a member of Verified by Visa and Mastercard SecureCode.
The Portmone payment gateway can be used by online retailers operating through websites, mobile versions and applications. There is no need to conclude an agreement to receive payments. It is enough to place the appropriate button or small form on the site. The setup is done using a special constructor.
Portmone opportunities for companies
For legal entities that issue invoices for their services, the Portmone system offers the service of paying bills using payment cards in several ways:
- On the website www.portmone.com.ua;
- On the company's website;
- Using a mobile phone;
- Through the Direct-Debit service - “Regular payment” (automatic debiting) from payment cards based on agreements with clients.
The Direct Debit bill payment service is intended for the direct debiting of funds from accounts (card or settlement) for services provided based on customer applications. Invoices are paid on the day they are issued.
Refusal to transfer and other problems with Portmone
Portmone.com does not guarantee the successful completion of the Card2Card transaction, warning about a possible refusal by the sender or recipient's bank:
- if there is not enough money on the card account;
- if such transactions are prohibited for the type of card to which the sender’s or recipient’s plastic belongs;
- one or both cards are not issued in hryvnia;
- an error was made when entering card parameters (the number or secret code was entered incorrectly);
- Without explaning the reason.
If the operation was successful, but for some reason the money did not arrive on the recipient’s card account within the expected period, the sender will have to submit a request or claim to the Portmone support service.
In your application you must indicate:
- date and time of operation;
- amount;
- the first 6 and last 4 digits of the sender's and recipient's card numbers.
Important: through a request or complaint to the support service, you can get an investigation into the transfer and the receipt of “lost” funds in the recipient’s account. But it is impossible to cancel a successfully sent transfer. The sender should be careful and not confuse the card numbers of the persons to whom he is transferring money.

Portmone or Prostir: which is better and more profitable for the user?
Those solutions offered by Portmone or the Prostir payment system have won many fans of online payments in Ukraine. In addition, very high security standards and intuitive operation are a huge merit of its popularity. And although competition has appeared on the market, Portmone and the Prostir payment system in Ukraine remain leaders.
The fundamental similarity of these brands is that they are payment systems. If we compare the functionality of Portmone and Prostir, they are practically no different:
- In both cases, you need to undergo mandatory registration indicating your phone number.
- After registration, a personal account is assigned for making payments and receiving invoices.
- To increase the user level, allowing you to handle large volumes of finance (one-time payment, monthly payment amount, account balance), a procedure for confirming passport data is required.
- You can link a bank card and/or bank account to each account – both Portmone and Prostir.
- The main thing is that these electronic wallets can be used to pay for purchases, services, cellular communications, games, casinos, etc. both using a browser on a computer and using a smartphone.
In general, both Portmone and Prostir have the same practical purpose - to manage funds accumulated in user accounts.
Alternative to sending money
One of the possible options for sending money from Russia to Ukraine is through an intermediary. This option is easy to implement, but money can only be entrusted to close friends or relatives who will not deceive. With this method of sending money, you do not have to pay a commission, and for the service of a friend or relative you can give a small amount, which will still be less than postal services.
The only downside to sending money this way is that it is risky. No matter how reliable an acquaintance may be, the risk of deception is still great. But, if you need to pay for any service with this money, write a receipt and give it along with the money to the intermediary. The recipient must take a photograph of the amount received for guarantee. Count the money and sign the receipt.
Also, instead of a sum of money, you can give the recipient a bank card with an agreed amount of funds on the balance for greater reliability. This method is safer for the recipient, especially if he is new to counterfeit bills.

09.09.2021 at 04:13 Hello! I am in the LPR. I have a card from Sberbank Mastercard. I cannot transfer money to a Privatbank account. Payment is not accepted, they write that there are not enough funds on the card, although this is not true. It turns out that you cannot pay to Ukraine from the LPR. Question: while in the LPR, what transfers can I make using my card?

09.09.2021 at 12:18Olga, good afternoon. You can make transfers through the Sberbank Online system while in any country, if you have the opportunity to receive SMS codes or push notifications to confirm transactions. Perhaps there is not enough money due to the exchange rate. Try to transfer a smaller amount. If difficulties arise, contact the operator in the mobile or Internet banking chat or call the hotline number (the cost of the call is based on the tariffs of your telecom operator).

Dear Yana, such a transfer will be subject to conversion. In general, purchasing rubles in Ukraine is not prohibited by law, but the transfer itself will be received in hryvnia, after which the recipient will be able to purchase the currency. This can be done through any transfer service, for example, Western Union.

It's all lies! Yesterday and today WU tried to transfer money. Commercial banks do not work with Ukraine, and Sberbank does not have WU. Please contact the Russian Post Office. Translation is no problem, delivery is within 3 days, but the catch is that Ukrposhta has a very low exchange rate. It is necessary to send with a reserve, which (the reserve) is agreed upon with the recipient.

Through Sberbank from a card to Privatbank without any problems. Low percentage. I recently found out myself. For a couple of years I sent it by Russian post to Ukrposhta - robbery in broad daylight.

Dear Elena, you can transfer funds to a bank account if you have the recipient’s details (recipient’s account number and last name, first name in Latin letters, details of the recipient bank, bank SWIFT code, bank name, city and country). This can be done at any bank in the Russian Federation.

Dear Olga, you can make a transfer from a Russian card to a Ukrainian one or make a non-cash transfer using the Western Union system.

No, WU only transfers to private individuals. And to a bank account of a legal entity in Ukraine, the most profitable option is Tinkov Bank, where the commission is 15 dollars for one transfer.

These are all on-line translations. Are there transfers from a bank, such as “hummingbird”?

You can send money through Alfa-Bank. If you have an Alfa-Bank card in Russia and the recipient has an Alfa-Bank Ukraine card, then you can make transfers on the Alfa-Bank website. Commission 1%. Enrollment within an hour.

It is much easier to send from a Yandex or Qiwi wallet through online exchangers. The money is instantly transferred to the recipient on the card of Privat Bank, Monobank and other Ukrainian banks. You haven't considered this option at all.

Which of the proposed methods did you use, i.e. What exactly has been verified by your own experience? For example, Skrill is mentioned, from which it is very problematic to withdraw funds, and it also has a confusing identity verification system. WU can also transfer from card to card, but this method is not mentioned at all. Sending and receiving via Russian Post, even within the Russian Federation, is quite a puzzle. Sending abroad using this method requires being a very serious fan of Russian Post.
