The exchange is praised for its nice referral program that helps you replenish your Dotcoin reserves. Account security is implemented at a high level. Cryptopia recommends immediately activating two-factor authentication to log into your account and to withdraw funds from the exchange.
Registration on the Cryptopia exchange
To start registering your personal account on the exchange, you need to go to the official website https://cryptopia.co.nz and click on the “Registration” button.

Verification
All registered participants with verified email can withdraw no more than the equivalent of NZD 5,000. How to withdraw money from Cryptopia in larger quantities? To increase limits, as on other trading platforms, Cryptopia will need to undergo identity verification.
To increase the withdrawal amount to 50,000 NZD, you must go through the second level of verification, which involves filling out a form, providing a scan of your passport and a selfie with this document in your hands. In the " Verification " section, enter your first name, last name, date of birth, gender, country, city, postal code and address.

If you don't remember what and how many coins you have, visit the "Balances" section from the same submenu. The exchange automatically creates wallets for all supported cryptocurrencies for each user. A list of them is published in the “Balances” section. Since there are a lot of coins, in order not to wander through the lists, it would be wise to use filters.
You can hide all empty wallets or show only your favorite ones. You can top up balances or withdraw coins directly from this section. The section also calculates the total value of coins in all your Bitcoin wallets, and how much of this amount is now in altcoins.

On the Exchange tab you can exchange any cryptocurrencies. To do this, enter the designation of the cryptocurrency you need in the “Search” window highlighted in the screenshot and look at the open orders for purchase and sale.
The screenshot below shows trading opportunities using the example of transactions with Dogecoin. As you can see, a graph with quotes appears at the top of the screen, on which you can change the time period and scale.
Next are two fields for submitting applications for the sale or purchase of Dogecoin. As you can see, transactions with leverage are not provided here. Below you can see already open orders for purchase and sale of other participants.
MarketPlace tab – selling junk for cryptocurrencies
Surprisingly, this exchange has its own flea market, where we can buy all sorts of junk - from figurines and flash drives to erotic photographs. Of course, trading is for crypto. The fact that there are not so many lots immediately indicates that the section is not particularly popular.
Let’s quickly look at what’s interesting in the following tabs. With the forum, I think everything is clear. In " CoinInfo " you can find out various information about different coins. But in the tabs that are hidden under the inscription “ More ” there are interesting options. For example, in the “Rewards” tab we find out that the site has bots that constantly award bonuses to a random exchange participant. The chances of it hitting you are slim, but it's still a nice feature.
In the “ Term Deposit ” tab, you can put cryptocurrency on deposit at a small interest rate – from 0.5 to 1.5% per month, depending on the term. Deposits are made in the local currency DOT, which can be easily purchased on the exchange. But it is not a fact that your received 0.5% per month will not be “eaten up” by a much larger drop in the domestic currency.
And on the “ Lotto ” tab there is a large selection of lottery tickets that you can purchase and try your luck.
How to trade, buy and sell cryptocurrency
The Cryptopia exchange provides the opportunity to buy or sell cryptocurrency through the trading terminal interface. To do this, go to the website and select Exchange - Market.
The base cryptocurrencies are: BTC, USDT, NSDT, LTC, DOGE. In the search window, specify the second cryptocurrency in the pair. For example, Tron TRX.

There is only one type of order implemented on Cryptopia - limit. In the application form you must indicate:
- Amount — amount of cryptocurrency.
- Price — price per unit. In the example, 1 TRX=0.00000811 BTC.
- Sum - the amount that will be paid excluding commission.
- Fee - trading commission 0.2% of the transaction volume.
- Total - final amount. In the example, for 0.0082 BTC we get 1020 TRX.
- Click Buy. Your order will go into the stock order book for purchase and will be executed when it is bought by a counter order.
You can specify any price for the asset, but it must be competitive. If you specify too low, the order may never be executed. In this case, the order must be cancelled. You can select the first opposing Sell Orders and buy it back. To do this, just click on it and the form will fill out automatically. You can change the quantity by specifying what you need. In this case, you will instantly buy cryptocurrency on the Cryptopia exchange and won’t have to wait.

How to deposit and withdraw funds from the Cryptopia exchange

Top up your balance
Cryptopia does not work with fiat money. You can top up your balance with any cryptocurrency from a large list of traded coins using a special interface.
